In my experience, some heirloom jewellery is usually worn or have a missing part. I have another example of my customer as she contacted me with one earring as the other got lost. The earring had 9 small diamonds and they were in different sizes. I suggested creating a ring with the stones.  The earring she inherited from her mother is now transformed to a ring which was given to her daughter. Three generation to enjoy a family
