Story
Strongly inspired by geometric and natural forms, my approach is truly “wabi-sabi”, I explore a combination of geometry and nature to create something unique from these apparent opposites. This contemporary jewellery collection is not only of singular pieces but I also produce and sell small batches which allows for a broad price range.
Materials and process
My favour of the using of gemstones combined with gold and silver. Wax casting and wax carving, together with highly skilled traditional fabrication methods.
I graduated from School of Jewellery, Birmingham. From my workshop in Birmingham’s historic Jewellery Quarter, my work to commission, supplies UK galleries and exhibits at selected exhibitions and selling fairs throughout the year. My workshop is open to visit by appointment.

Vertebrae

Mineral

Using the ancient lost wax process, Nobuko has created a series of miniature gems that are both strikingly bold and utterly unique.
