Hessonite Garnet and Akoya Pearl 18kt Gold Earrings

This pair of earrings are one of a kind item. Stone settings allow to take a lot of light from the back which makes faceted Hessonite Garnet to be able to show its beautiful colour from the front and the back. Red and gold goes well together. Akoya pearl is sea water pearl and its luster is quite different from freshwater pearls.

Nobuko’s memory of childhood brought her to make “Vertebrae Collection”. Having translated her wooden snake toy to a line of small cubes, she has combined natural found objects with vertebrae lines. These geometric forms have a beautiful association with naturally generated structures.
